Still struggling to find an effective remedy for your skin problems? I am sure you must have tried a lot of herbal and clinical therapies to get rid of pimples, acnes and other skin problems of the face. If you are reading this, then you have probably not found the cure that you are looking for. Don’t worry. All of your skin problems can be effectively cured naturally by using Tea Tree Oil.

Tea tree oil has antiviral, antiseptic, anti-fungal and antibiotic properties. Due to these properties, the oil acts as a disinfectant and soothes the skin. While other treatment options may induce irritation and reddening of the facial skin,Tea Tree Oil does not produce any such effects if used in the correct manner. The oil itself is quite potent and the concentration as well as mode of application needs to be controlled. Moreover, the oil does not remove natural oils that are present within the skin. Other forms of treatment might deplete these natural oils which is not good for the skin’s health.

You can keep your facial skin clear and flawless with these cleaning methods.

Create a Tea Tree Oil Infused Face Mask

The best thing about tea tree oil is that it can be added to various carriers and then applied to enhance the effect on the skin. In this case, a few drops of tea tree oil can be added to face mask and other ingredients. This mask can be applied safely on your face for clearing the skin of bacteria, germs, and pimples.

Leave this mask on for 20 mins before rinsing it off with some lukewarm water. Pat the face dry with a soft towel once done. Never rub your face with cloth or a rough towel.

Jojoba-Tomato Face Mask

Mix 3-4 drops of tea tree oil with 1 tsp of Jojoba oil and some finely chopped fresh tomato. Puree this mixture with a blender or food processor. Apply this puree on your face and leave it there for 10 mins. After that, wash it off with lukewarm water and pat it dry with a soft towel.

Yoghurt Face Mask

Add 5 drops of tea tree oil to ¼ cup of plain yoghurt and mix well. Apply this puree on your face and leave it there for 20 mins. Rinse it off later with lukewarm water and pat your face dry with a soft clean towel. In order to get the best results, make sure that you get good quality yoghurt that is fresh. Mix It with Facial Scrubs

Tea tree oil can be mixed with facial scrubs to enhance the effect of the scrub in clearing the skin of dead cells and bacterial infestations. Mix 1 tsp of honey, ½ cup of sugar, 10 drops of tea tree oil, and quarter cup of either sesame oil or olive oil. Apply this mix on your face and gently scrub it for 5-6 minutes. Don’t be rough with your hand’s movements. Make small circles on your face and move them around to get an even scrubbing effect.

Once done, rinse it off with some lukewarm water and then pat it dry with a soft towel. This is an effective treatment for mild to medium skin problems which don’t n’s require direct application of the oil. If this scrub suits you, then you can use the ratio mentioned above and create bulk quantities of this facial scrub for future use.

Mix It with Cleanser and Moisturizer

If you have having problems in removing that stubborn acne, then mix a few drops of good quality tea tree oil to your cleanser and moisturizer. Apply this mix to your face while taking care that the mixture doesn’t get into your eyes. The oil is potent in nature and can cause irritation in the eyes which may require medical assistance. Also, make sure that the concentration of the oil is kept within safe limits. If you add too many drops of the tea tree oil to the mix, then it could induce adverse reactions.

Tea Tree Oil works wonders for those who are suffering from acute acne, pimple and facial spots. Spot treatment can be made at home and you need not go for a branded treatment option for this. Make a mixture of aloe-vera gel (few teaspoons) and tea tree oil (few drops). Mix it well and apply the mixture on the spots. Take care to apply the mixture evenly while covering all the spots that are present on the face. You can substitute aloe-vera gel with honey if preferred.

Apply to Spots Directly

Direct application of tea tree oil on the skin allows the oil to penetrate the skin and removes excessive sebum, kills bacteria and dry out blackheads, and whiteheads. The antibacterial properties of the oil make it an excellent remedy for treating skin problems naturally. But you need to be careful while applying the oil directly as it can cause skin irritation and reddening if done incorrectly.

You would have to leave this on for at least a few hours (preferably overnight). Soon your spots, pimples and acne would dry off and get removed, leaving behind a clear facial skin.

Just take care to clean and dry our face before applying the oil. Also, make sure that you get high quality pure tea tree oil.
